Punta Ala Sunset

We took these photos last week in Punta Ala, one of our favorite vacation spots on the coast of Tuscany. Even though the weather wasn't typical for this time of the year - we had some cold night and lots of wind - we were lucky to capture this beautiful sunset over the Tyrrhenian sea. The dress I'm wearing is one of my summer favorites, I just love the large polka dots and the bubble hem and the super light cotton fabric is perfect for beachside walks. Do you guys like it?

Diamonds Are a Thing of Beauty

I'm temporarily back in the city, enjoying the lack of traffic jams and people in general, so I thought that before heading back to the beach I'd share with you some amazing and unique jewelry I have recently discovered, so we'll have one more thing to dream about while working on our tans underneath a palm tree somewhere nice and sunny.

Skater Girl

I have always loved pairing black with powder pink, because I really like the contrast of these two colors and how they complement each other in a strong, but feminine look. This pleated chiffon skater skirt is a comfortable choice for hot summer days, and even though I'm not the kind of girl who sacrifices looks for comfort, I definitely appreciate the latter. As usual, I kept my accessories to the minimum and wore only one statement piece: a pair of vintage cabochon carnelian earrings. What do you think of this look?

Insta-Post #6

Mr and Mrs Bruschi, Vogue and lashes

Time for a new insta-post! If you look at my pictures, you might wonder if I decided to become a food blogger since there are so many food pics in here... Well, no. Not yet, at least... It' just that I love cooking, photographing and eating food, and I especially enjoy taking pics of my afternoon cappuccinos and pretty deserts - yes, I am that annoying person. If you still want to follow me, you can do it HERE. Happy weekend everyone!

How to Create an Hourglass Figure and Why

I firmly believe that the hourglass silhouette is the most flattering way of dressing most body shapes. It accentuates our best assets while also hiding our flaws and is generally very feminine. Even though it includes a cinched waist, the sense of freedom it gives you is surprising, just think about it: there is no need to suck in your stomach, because it is hidden under a voluminous skirt (and so are your thighs), and your waist looks the thinnest it can possibly look without a corset. What's not to love?

Soap Heaven - The English Soap Company

All the lovely goodies you see in the picture above were sent to me by The English Soap Company. Let me tell you that when I first opened the package that arrived in the mail, it filled my living room with heavenly scents of all kinds and I was immediately impressed. I'm kind of picky when it comes to scents and I can definitely tell a high quality perfume from a cheap one, and I can assure you that these are as good as soaps get. I actually keep the ones that I am not using in my bedroom as a sort of home fragrance.

Mink False Lashes by Esqido

I'm so excited to share with you all my newest discovery, the amazing mink false eyelashes by Esqido. I love wearing falsies, but one thing I don't like about most of them is the exaggeratedly fake look they tend to give you. Well, this was not an issue with my Esqido BFF lashes, which look so natural that even I find them perfectly appropriate for daily wear.
