Simplicity and Elegance

These are the keywords for this season's bridal wear. We are so used to seeing brides in head-to-toe lace, beads and ruffles that minimalist wedding dresses might be a breath of fresh air for those who are looking for something new and modern for their big day. Try a simple cut with one dramatic detail - a long train, a voluminous skirt or an open back - and just a tiny sprinkle of sparkle.

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking.

I'm sure you've all recognized the quote by our favorite diabolic editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. Olive Green Pants

Olive green is not a color I would normally choose for an outfit and lace pants aren't really my cup of tea either, but I'm so glad I decided to experiment with this lovely pair here. I toned the look down a notch by pairing them with a simple distressed white tee, but of course I just had to wear a pair of super high heels with it. I rarely take styling advice from men, but this time I must give credit where credit is due: my husband chose the hat to go with this outfit and I must say I love how it came out. I guess I might start listening to him sometimes...
