Summer is such a wonderful time of year. It gives you a sense of freedom and carelessness, and it seems like everything you do in these three months has a special significance. There are so many ways to celebrate summer - family barbecues, fireworks, beaches and boats, trips to the mountains or just simply relaxing in the back yard. This last weekend I chose to go to the beach in Forte dei Marmi and work on my tan (failed - still milky white). I had an amazing time nevertheless, and my outfit of the day definitely contributed to that :)

After having spent the last two days in bed with a fever I was happy to finally get out of the house and shoot some pics with my brand new flower print blazer from Lovelywholesale. I'm always in search of pretty blazers because they are such a great piece to instantly "dress up" an outfit, but still casual enough for everyday - exactly what I need!

|Florence, Forte dei Marmi and my indulgent lunch|
Aaaand.... here I come with a new Insta-post! These last couple of weeks have been really busy for me, which is a good thing, because it means lots of exciting new projects and the promise of a fun summer. I leave you with my Insta-pics and I'll see you on Friday with a new outfit post. Stay tuned! :)

The main element of today's outfit is definitely the flower motif. I always say how much I love florals - they are so feminine and they can make any look more interesting and cheerful. For a hot and busy day I chose this pleated tunic in feather light chiffon and paired it with white jeans, high heeled strappy sandals and my new necklace by Italian brand Asterisco-S - a laser cut flower in silver galvanized brass with two purple Swarowki crystal drops, perfect for accessorizing a girly look for day or evening.

As those of you who follow me on Instagram might already know, me and hubs spent the weekend at the beach in Forte dei Marmi to escape from the heat of the city. It was lovely and relaxing, as it always is when there's good food, good weather and good company. I also finally got to wear my new printed T-shirt by super cute Italian brand Tiffo&Co. Tiffo is actually a bunny (who appears to be the head of operations at the company, however strange that may sound) and together with his bunny friend Chany they created this awesome lifestyle brand (they have everything from clothing to mugs to pillowcases). The tee I'm wearing is 98% cotton and it is made in Italy and the quality is exceptional.

Who doesn't like to dream? I do, and with the summer in full swing what I like to dream of the most is a nice and relaxing beach vacation. Of course, being a fashion blogger, my dreams almost always include some pretty cool outfits, some of which I decided to share with you today. I chose four dream beach locations and paired them with some of my favorite Etsy finds this summer (I know, I'm totally obsessed with Etsy). Let us begin! :)

It's quickly becoming so hot here in Tuscany that it's virtually impossible to wear anything else other than feather light fabrics or nothing at all... Since the latter was not an option, today I chose this textured silk jumpsuit by Italian designer Kristina Ti. It's literally nude, since it's almost exactly the color of my skin, but I kind of liked the effect and decided to enhance it with a similarly nude handbag. Despite my best efforts I was still suffocating in the heat and humidity... I'm so going to the beach tomorrow.

Time for a new Insta-post! I haven't been as active on Instagram as I wanted to in the past couple of weeks, but I still immensely enjoyed posting and looking at all your pretty pictures from all around the world. If you're following me, you probably noticed that I have a strong tendency to post photos of my cat... well, no one's perfect... I just often find that he's one of the most aesthetically (and otherwise) pleasing aspects of my life :)) Anyway, if despite this you want to follow me, you can do so HERE (@bellapummarola). I'll follow back. Have a lovely Wednesday!

I wore this menswear inspired outfit for a Sunday walk in Florence. It's the time of year when Italians start to disappear and tourists arrive, so the city becomes a sort of cultural melting pot (quite literally, since it was 37C/99F today). I find it fascinating to observe all the touristy attire folks are wearing, including white tennis shoes and safari hats (really?) and I keep wondering why. Anyway, to make my point clear I decided to wear these super high wedge sandals to stand out from the crowd (excuse the pun) and set an example. They're a great option for walking on cobblestones and they gave my boyish look a little girly touch. I'm not actually wearing menswear, besides the belt, but I really like how the shirt and tank top combo works with the boyfriend jeans and some casual jewelry. What do you think?

I am a little ashamed to admit it, but yesterday I had a classic "I have nothing to wear" moment. What kind of fashion blogger am I? In my defense I can say that it doesn't happen to me that often, but when it does it gets ugly...

It's been a while since I did a post on my favorite Etsy finds (check out the last one HERE). I love this site, because I can find the prettiest and most particular vintage and handmade items here, which are often one-of-a-kind or even personalized. Here are some lovely items I found for summer: pretty pastels, tea dresses and shiny jewels - which one is your favorite?

This is the second part of the pics we took in Rome last week. (In case you missed part one, you can check it out HERE.) This is definitely a more casual outfit than the previous one - I was going for comfort, I guess you can tell. I bought the lion head tee forever ago in Vegas and it has been my go-to top for travel outfits ever since. I kept the rolled up boyfriend jeans from the day before and added brown accessories instead of pastel tones. I love brown, because it is such a versatile and understated color, I really think I can wear it with anything and it's obviously not as dark and overwhelming as black, but I've heard quite a few negative opinions about it. What do you guys think? Do you wear brown?
