I am currently enjoying the last few weeks of being able to wear stilettos before my feet swell to the size of watermelons - or at least that's what Google says I should be prepared for at this stage of my pregnancy... I've just entered my 6th month and, up until now, I was one of those girls who think they will not need any maternity clothes, after all you can just buy a few sizes up in regular clothes, right? Wrong.
A few weeks ago I realized that literally none of my pants fit me any more, so I went out and bought the elastic waist lace shorts I wore in my last outfit post - those and a dozen stretch cotton dresses have been my best friends in these last couple of weeks. Now, I've never been much of a jeans girl and always thought that I could happily live without them, but let me tell you that when you don't have a pair of jeans to wear, it actually really sucks. So I had to re-evaluate my point of view and invest in a pair of maternity jeans from Prénatal, that will hopefully grow with me during the course of the next 4 months (they have tiny hidden buttons and elastic inserts for this purpose). They are super comfy and don't look like maternity pants at all, wouldn't you agree?
P.S. This shirt miraculously conceals my belly from certain angles, but let me tell you a secret - I'm getting HUGE underneath... wish me luck! ;)
