Silk Sunday

A silk tee goes a long way. I've recently become fascinated with them, because I realized that I can wear them with absolutely anything! A real treasure for a fashion blogger. Let me confess that I'm not a fan of traditional cotton T-shirts, unless there's something really special about them... T-shirt and jeans is waay to minimal for me, but this silk one... this I love! I could wear it with the most boring jeans on Earth, and I would still love it.

My Very First Insta-Post

So yeah, I realize that I'm more than fashionably late to the Insta-party, but better late than never, am I right? A few weeks ago I finally opened an Instagram account and even though I haven't quite mastered everything yet, I've been having lots of fun with it. So take a look at my "masterpieces" and follow me if you want - I promise to follow back ;)

Tulle Dreams

Today's outfit was suggested by my inner princess and there was no way I could resist. When I first saw this sea green tulle skirt, I instantly fell in love with it... I mean it's tulle and long and green and it has a bow at the waist. In order to avoid looking too sugary I paired it with a fun printed shirt and a folded mini bag with maxi studs and added my fave brown Fendi pumps as a final touch. What do you think gals and guys?

Linen, Lace and Pearls by Positano Couture

Today I'm wearing my brand new linen and lace outfit by Blitz Moda, more precisely from their Positano Couture line. You should know that Positano, the loveliest town on Italy's Amalfi coast, is one of my favorite places in the world, so I was more than happy to work with a local brand that makes high-end artisanal fashion pieces by hand, in an eco-friendly way and in a very distinct and authentic Positano style. Their pieces are designed for glamorous beach vacations, but look equally good on the city streets.

Lace is Always Good

The weather has been acting a little weird recently, like it often does in springtime, and today was just one of those strange sunny/windy days when you have no idea what to wear. I opted for a pair of flared jeans, suede ankle boots, a super light sweater and my newest jacket. It's pretty thin, but it's just enough to protect me from the wind and I love the lace covered front. Thoughts? :)

Aesthetic Event Pt. 2.

Here goes the second part of my pictures from the Aesthetic Viale Della Repubblica event I attended on Thursday in Prato. I'm showing you the last two outfits - the first one a long and dressy silk ensemble in muted earth tones which I wore with my brown Fendi pumps, the second one a younger and more casual take on spring with contrasting colors: black, white and red. I wore this last look with a pair of chunky heels - an absolute first for me. I never thought I would be embracing this trend, but they're actually really fun (especially in cherry red patent leather) and oh so comfortable. You guys should try them sometimes :)

Aesthetic Event Pt.1.

hoss total look

Today I'm showing you the first part of the pictures we took at the in-store event of Aesthetic VialeDellaRepubblica in Prato, Tuscany, my blog's new partner. For the occasion I wore a long plissé dress and embroidered coat by Hoss, but I also tried on a few other looks from the store which I will be showing you today and in my next post. Right now I'm crazy about pastel colors and Aesthetic just happened to have a huge selection of them, so you can imagine how much fun I had! These delicate colors such as light pink, peach, mint, pale yellow and light blue are very feminine and perfect for spring. What do you think of my looks?

Bad Hair Day and Hermès Scarf

This is how I wear my hair when I wake up in the morning and realize that I have no time to dedicate to it. The messy bun is a really tricky thing, though - if you don't get it right the first time, don't even bother trying to do it again on the same day, because you will waste half an hour of your precious time and it will still look only "fakely messy", if you know what I mean...

A Sea of Flowers

There is no better way to celebrate spring than splashes of bright color and light fabrics that follow the shape of your body. I put together a really simple outfit for this shoot with a combination of peach and salmon pink and accessorizing with my vintage ivory rose ring and a zebra bangle. These have been two of my favorite colors since last year, because they are not quite pink, but still very feminine and fun to wear. I had been meaning to shoot in this lovely flower field that is just in front of my house for a while now, and I'm glad I finally got to do it. What do you think of these pics?
